Hi Lori and crew :)

Our "Fred Bird " harness arrived Saturday so we decided to take Scooter with us to the Old Fashioned Days festival where we were selling honey (and some other stuff--we have honeybees). I was playing with him on the bed and just slipped it right on. He did want to play with the buckle part but wasn't fighting it. He did so well for his first big adventure out! This morning we decided to go ahead and take him again so I sat down with him facing me on the table and put it on him like we did it everyday...no big deal! I was really surprised because so many people said they are a waste of money to buy because the birds hate them. Not Scooter! I told everyone who asked what in the world it was that it was a Fred Bird harness. :) You know...people sometimes look at you funny when you have a harness and a lead on a bird... Go figure... ? :) :) His wings are clipped, of course, but I just felt better with the harness and lead on while we were out walking around. We were even in the pet parade. :)

Thanks for a great product and for such fast service! I'll certainly be telling my friends about them!

Hi there, just wanted to drop you a line and tell you how thrilled I am with your parrot harness! I have a greenwing macaw and he wears it with no problem at all. We went outside yesterday and he did not even fuss over it. The harness he used to wear had alot of spring hooks and he was constantly biting at them. Then I tried a nylon flight suit and he was always pulling at the elastic on on his shoulders. I then tried a leash hooked to his leg band and not only did I worry about him breaking a leg, bu he also unhooked it last week! But your product IS PERFECT! I will be showing it to all the members of my parrot club and I'm sure you'll hear from some of then. So thank you for a great harness!! Angela (& Eli)

Just wanted to tell you that this is the second harness I've purchased from you. I tried "Other Harnesses" in several sizes and none of them were any good. Yours is the only one that works. We've worn out the first one now -- my grey has pretty much chewed it up -- but she can't get it off and it doesn't seem to irritate her the way the others do.

Thanks for a great product.

I know I'm slightly different from most parrot owners that use harnesses; I am the owner of a keel-billed toucan. However, I can say that Sam and I absolutely love the harness we purchased! He loves going outside and perching in his favorite bush, and sitting in the lawn tossing around the autumn leaves. He only was annoyed by the harness for the first few days. Now he's forgotten it's even on, and it blends in so well that you can't even tell he's wearing it. He willingly allows me to clip on the leash when it's time to go out to play. For any other toucan owners looking to fit their bird with a Kaylor Collar harness, I HIGHLY recommend the medium size for a keel, and the large for a Toco. What an awesome, life-changing device for 20 bucks!

Many Thanks,

Hi Lori,

We have purchased two of your harnesses and have recommended it to many people seeking a safe and functional harness for their companion parrots. As your advertisement states, you re-sized both of my harnesses to insure an exact fit for safety. You were so accommodating to our birds needs, I would not think of recommending another harness to anyone. Thank you for your careful planning and research in the design of your product! Your follow-up after the sale to us was exceptional!

Talk to you soon...
